# AI Influencer Name Generator

This AI influencer name generator gives you twelve names for your AI persona, each with a matching Instagram handle that follows the username rules. It is for anyone naming a new AI influencer or faceless page.

## How to use the AI Influencer Name Generator

1. Pick the niche, the vibe and the name style. Leave the persona on Any, or pick a woman or a man.

2. Press Generate names for twelve new names. Copy the ones you like, or Copy all.

3. Search each handle in the Instagram app before you build the page. This tool does not check if a handle is free.

## Instagram username rules

Every handle the generator suggests fits these rules, so you can type it straight into Instagram.

| Rule | What it means |
| --- | --- |
| Length | 30 characters at most. |
| Characters | Letters, numbers, periods and underscores. No spaces, emoji, hyphens or symbols like @ # &. |
| Periods | Not at the start or the end, and never two in a row. |
| Capitals | Handles are not case-sensitive, so the generator writes them in lowercase. |
| Unique | One account per handle. If it is taken, add a period, an underscore or a niche word. |

The display name above the handle is a separate field, so it can have spaces and capitals.

## The three name styles

- **First + last name:** reads like a real person, such as June Hollow. Best when the persona is the brand and the niche may grow.
- **Name + niche word:** says what the page is about, such as Nana June’s Kitchen. Best when people should know the topic from the name alone.
- **Handle first:** the handle is the brand, such as june.bakes, with the display name after it. Best for short, easy-to-say handles.

Pick a name you can say out loud in a video. Viewers who hear it once should be able to search for it.

Have a name? Next, give the persona a face: one reference photo that every image and video starts from. [See 16 AI persona ideas →](https://phersa.com/personas)

## AI Influencer Name Generator questions

### What should I name my AI influencer?

Use the character’s name, not only the niche. Pick a first name people can say and remember. If the plain handle is taken, add a niche word or a place. Use the same name on Instagram and Facebook, so people find the persona on both.

### Does this check if the Instagram handle is available?

No. Search the handle in the Instagram app, or try it on the Edit profile screen. A quick web search also shows if a brand or a real person already uses the name.

### How long can an Instagram username be?

30 characters. It can use letters, numbers, periods and underscores. No spaces.

### Should an AI influencer name sound like a real person?

It can. Many persona pages use a plain first and last name, so the persona feels like someone you could know. A niche word in the name tells new viewers the topic faster.

### Can I change the name later?

Yes. You can change the display name and the username in Edit profile, so you can test a name before you commit to it.
