Comment-to-DM Generator

This comment-to-DM generator writes the full set for one post: the “comment a keyword” call to action, three DM versions that send your link, and the public replies. It is for anyone who asks viewers to comment a word to get a link: creators, shops and faceless AI persona pages.

Posted under the comment after the DM goes out.

How to use the Comment-to-DM Generator

        1. Pick what you’re sending, type its name and your niche, and add the link if you have it.

        2. Type a keyword or pick an idea, choose a tone, and press Generate.

        3. Copy a call to action into your video and caption. Copy the DMs and replies into your automation.

        How to pick a keyword

        • One short word. People type it on a phone in a second: GUIDE, LINK, GLOW. A phrase gets typed wrong.
        • Tied to what the DM sends. RECIPE for a recipe, CODE for a discount. The word reminds people what they asked for.
        • Said, shown and written. Some people watch with the sound off. Some never open the caption. Say the word in the video, put it on screen and write it in the caption, the same way each time.
        • Not a word people write anyway. “Love” or “wow” turns up in comments that weren’t asking for anything.

Write the keyword in capitals so it stands out. Capitals don’t matter for matching: LINK, link and Link are the same keyword.

        What goes in the DM

A good DM does three things. It thanks the person, gives them what the post promised, and asks for the follow in words. Put the link on its own line so it is easy to tap.

DMs per commentOne, sent within 7 days of the comment. More only after the person replies.

A few versions keep the DMs from reading the same for everyone. For affiliate links, say that they are affiliate links.

Have the DM go out on its own to everyone who comments your keyword on Instagram or a Facebook Page, with up to 6 versions of the DM and the reply. See how comment-to-DM works →

        Comment-to-DM Generator questions

How do I automatically send a DM when someone comments on Instagram?

Set up a comment-to-DM automation on an Instagram professional account or a Facebook Page. Pick the post, the keyword and the message. Everyone who comments the word gets the DM. Meta allows one DM per comment, sent within 7 days. This tool writes the words: the comment ask, the DM and the public reply.

What keyword should I use for comment-to-DM?

One short word that names what the post promises, like GUIDE, ROUTINE or LIST. Say it in the video, show it on screen and write it in the caption. Capitals don’t matter for matching: LINK, link and Link all count.

Can I put a link in an Instagram auto DM?

Yes, written in the message. A link in an Instagram DM is tappable. Instagram doesn’t deliver buttons to people who don’t follow you, so keep Instagram DMs to text. A Facebook Page DM can carry up to 3 link buttons.

Should the DM ask people to follow?

Yes, in words. Ask in the video or caption next to the comment ask, and again in the DM. Every DM this tool writes includes a follow ask.

Should I reply publicly to every keyword comment?

Yes, with a short line like “Sent! Check your DMs”. It shows the commenter and everyone reading that the DM is real. Post it after the DM goes out.

Why did the DM land in message requests?

Because the person hasn’t messaged you before. A DM from a new account can arrive as a message request. A public reply that says “check your message requests” helps them find it.
